SHICKSHINNY FIRE COMMUNICATIONS
September 21, 2009 - FUNDRAISER/EVENTS UPDATE - Following is a brief heads up on some of our upcoming events and fundraisers. We will be holding boot drive at the intersection in Shickshinny on September 21st and October 3rd. We appreciate anytihng you can donate to the fire company. October 11th will be big money bingo at the fire hall. October 17th will be community awareness day at the carnival grounds in Shickshinny. November 14th, we will be hosting our always popular horse race at the Shickshinny Fire Hall. More info to follow soon. Check the fundraiser page for more info coming shortly
June 3, 2009 - We will be holding our annual Fire Bazaar June 11, 12, and 13. On Thursday June 11th, DJ Ryan music from 7-10pm. The pet and toy parade will also be held on that day. The parade forms at 5:30pm in the park on south butler street. On Friday, June 12th, the Fireman's Parade will be held at 6:30 pm and forms on canal street. Music will be provided by the band Deuce(classic rock) from 7:30 until 10:30. On Saturday June 13, family hour will be held at 5:00p.m. featuring Chaplain Doug Beach as well as Eden Everlasting(Christian Rock). The Tim Johnson Band will also be playing from 7:30-10:30pm that evening. This will be the Tim Johnson Bands first show in a while. As always we will have fun and games for all ages as well as great food. We look forward to seeing you, and appreciate your support.
April 28, 2009 - Our next fundraiser will be a boot drive on Saturday, May 23rd. We will be at the route 11 and 239 intersections in Shickshinny all day accepting donations. We appreciate anything you can give.
April 23, 2009 - We will be holding a Meatload Dinner at the Fire Hall on Saturday, April 25 from 4-8pm. The dinner will include meatloaf, potatoes, baked macaroni, and choice of vegetable. Desert will also be available. Eat in and Take Out Orders are available. Thank you.
April 14, 2009 - Thanks to all who participated in the Car Was fundraiser. Our next fundraiser will be on Sunday, April 19th. We will be hosting a big cash bingo. Total jackpot game payout is $1000!! More information is available on the fundraiser page as well as from any fire company member. Tickets will be available in advance or at the door.
April 6, 2009 - Our next fire company fundraiser will be held this Saturday April 11th in front of the fire hall. We will be washing cars from 9am on. As always we appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you Saturday. Thank you.
